Values

Connection

Connection is at the heart of the healing process. I believe that meaningful therapeutic change grows from a relationship built on trust, presence, and genuine understanding. In our work together, I strive to create a space where you feel deeply seen and heard, allowing you to reconnect with your own inner wisdom and with the people and experiences that matter most to you. Through grounding, attunement, and collaborative exploration, we build a foundation that supports authentic growth and lasting transformation.

Compassion

Compassion guides every aspect of my practice. I approach each client with warmth, non-judgment, and an openhearted curiosity about their inner world. I honor the courage it takes to be vulnerable and to explore painful or complex emotions. By holding space for your experiences with gentleness and empathy, I help you cultivate that same compassion toward yourself—empowering healing, resilience, and a deeper sense of self-acceptance.

Culturally Aware

Being culturally aware means recognizing the diverse identities, histories, and systems that shape each person’s lived experience. I am committed to offering therapy that is respectful, inclusive, and conscious of the cultural, social, and intergenerational forces at play. This includes continually learning, listening, and reflecting on my own biases so that our work together remains grounded in humility and genuine understanding. My goal is to create a therapeutic environment where all aspects of your identity are acknowledged, valued, and supported.

Approach

I focus on holistic psychotherapy for deeper healing—beyond the surface. So often we tend to ruminate on thoughts and the cycle continues and this often occurs due to finding comfort in the discomfort. I provide tangible tools to help you learn how to regulate your emotions through CBT/DBT and use experiential approaches such as IFS, EMDR, and somatic therapy to feel your feelings. Yes I know this can sound uncomfortable and scary, however through the therapeutic relationship we work together to find safety in expressing your vulnerable emotions that you have so long ignored.

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy helps you understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and actions so you can break free from unhelpful patterns. By learning practical tools to challenge negative thinking and build healthier coping strategies, CBT empowers you to respond to life’s challenges with greater clarity and confidence. It’s a structured, goal-oriented approach that offers concrete skills you can use both in therapy and in everyday life.

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy supports you in managing overwhelming emotions, improving communication, and building resilience. DBT combines mindfulness with skills training in areas like emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. This approach is especially helpful if you experience intense emotions or struggle with relationships, offering grounded, compassionate tools to help you stay centered, make effective choices, and create balance in your life.

  • Internal Family Systems helps you explore and understand the different “parts” of yourself—the emotions, beliefs, and protective patterns that influence how you show up in the world. Rather than trying to silence or push away these parts, IFS guides you in building a compassionate relationship with them so you can heal from the inside out. This gentle, transformative approach allows you to access your inner Self—your natural wisdom, calm, and confidence—and create deep, lasting change.

  • EMDR is a powerful, research-supported therapy that helps the brain process and heal from traumatic or distressing experiences. Through structured bilateral stimulation (such as eye movements or tapping), EMDR helps you reduce the emotional intensity of painful memories so they no longer feel overwhelming or defining. This approach allows you to move forward with greater ease, clarity, and freedom, while strengthening your sense of safety and self-trust.
