Healing that speaks your Language
South Asian Therapist in NYC for Anxiety, People-Pleasing & Life Transitions
Integrative, culturally informed psychotherapy for BIPOC & South Asian adults navigating anxiety, people-pleasing, family patterns, and chronic health stress. Virtual therapy across New York & Pennsylvania, with in-person sessions in NYC
If you’re feeling caught in cycles of anxiety, people-pleasing, and the weight of family expectations—or trying to keep going while also managing chronic health challenges—you’re not alone. Many of the people I work with feel exhausted from holding so much for others, while quietly wondering how to begin taking care of themselves too.
In our work together, I support clients navigating:
Anxiety and constant overthinking
People-pleasing and difficulty setting boundaries
Family expectations and intergenerational patterns
Low self-esteem and self-doubt
Body image concerns
Depression, burnout, and emotional overwhelm
Chronic health challenges and stress-related symptoms
Life transitions and identity shifts
Cultural stress and navigating BIPOC/South Asian identity
In therapy, we move at your pace. I offer a warm, collaborative, and culturally informed space where we can gently explore these patterns together, make sense of what you’ve been carrying, and support you in building more self-trust, balance, and ease in your life.
You don’t have to do this alone.

Services
Approach to Therapy
Our approach is holistic, culturally informed, and collaborative. We look at the whole you—not just the symptoms you’re struggling with. Your culture, relationships, family, identity, emotions, and lived experiences all have a place in the therapy room.
All parts of you are welcome here. You don’t have to hide the parts that feel anxious, angry, overwhelmed, or unsure. Together, we’ll make sense of what you’re carrying and find a path forward that feels true to you.
Evidence-Based Care
We use evidence-based approaches to help you understand your anxiety, people-pleasing, perfectionism, and emotional patterns—and build tools that actually fit your life. Therapy is collaborative and tailored to you, rather than following a one-size-fits-all formula.
A Relationship Where You Feel Safe to Be You
The relationship you have with your therapist matters. We create a space where you can be honest, messy, uncertain, or emotional without having to perform or have the “right” answer. Together, we’ll explore what’s happening beneath the surface and practice new ways of relating to yourself and others.
Care That Understands Your Culture
Your culture isn’t something you have to leave at the door. We make space for the complicated parts of being South Asian or BIPOC—loving your family while also feeling frustrated, wanting independence while carrying guilt, or building a life that doesn’t look exactly like the one your family imagined for you.
